Ingredients

For the Sugar Cookie Base
  • 16 oz sugar cookie dough store-bought or homemade equivalent
For the Cream Cheese Frosting
  • 8 oz cream cheese fully softened
  • 1 cup powdered sugar sifted
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
For the Patriotic Fruit Topping
  • 1.5 cups strawberries hulled and sliced, patted dry
  • 1 cup blueberries patted dry
  • 1 cup raspberries patted dry

Equipment

  • 12-inch round pizza pan
  • Hand mixer
  • Mixing bowl
  • Spatula

Method

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F and grease a 12-inch round pizza pan.
  2. Press the sugar cookie dough evenly into the pan in a thin even circle reaching close to the edges.
  3. Bake for 12-15 minutes until the edges are lightly golden and the center looks just set.
  4. Let the cookie base cool completely in the pan — at least 30 minutes.
  5. Beat the softened cream cheese with powdered sugar and vanilla extract until smooth and creamy.
  6. Spread the cream cheese frosting evenly over the cooled cookie base, leaving a small border around the edge.
  7. Pat all the fruit dry and arrange blueberries in the top left quarter for the star section.
  8. Arrange alternating rows of sliced strawberries and raspberries across the remaining surface with white frosting gaps between rows.
  9. Refrigerate for 15-20 minutes before slicing into wedges and serving cold.

Notes

Cool the cookie base completely before frosting. Pat all fruit dry to prevent color bleeding into the white frosting. Assemble no more than 2-3 hours before serving.
