Ingredients

Ingredients
  • 2 cups pineapple chunks fresh
  • 2 cups peach chunks firm and ripe
  • 1/4 cup honey
  • 2 tbsp butter melted
  • 1 tsp ground cinnamon

Equipment

  • Wooden or metal skewers
  • Grill or grill pan
  • Mixing bowl

Method

  1. If using wooden skewers, soak them in water for at least 20 minutes.
  2. In a small bowl, whisk together honey, melted butter, and cinnamon to make the glaze.
  3. Cut the pineapple and peaches into similar-sized chunks.
  4. Thread the fruit onto the skewers, alternating pineapple and peach pieces.
  5. Brush the skewers generously with the honey cinnamon glaze.
  6. Preheat the grill to medium heat and lightly oil the grates.
  7. Grill the skewers for 2-3 minutes per side, brushing with more glaze, until lightly charred.
  8. Remove from the grill and serve warm, with extra glaze drizzled over the top if desired.

Notes

Soak wooden skewers for at least 20 minutes before grilling. Don't overcook the fruit — a few minutes per side is enough.
